About Francine

Francine Stevenson is an entrepreneur with a long history of successful businesses behind her. Inspired by a lifelong passion for antiques, she opened Marie Antoinette French Antiques & Fine Furniture in Toronto in 1999. What started as an early retirement project turned into a twenty-year labour of love. In 2020, Francine closed her store and moved her business online.  

Through Maison Marie Antoinette, Francine continues to offer her clients a highly personalized service, including providing input on client’s décor choices when requested. 

Francine’s flare for beautiful furnishing is complemented by her commitment to exceptional personal service. In the words of a client: “shopping at Marie Antoinette is like going back in time when merchants listened, gave advised when requested, and truly cared about their client’s needs”. 

Born and raised in Montreal, Francine has resides in Oakville, Ontario for over 30 years. When Francine is not tending to her online business, she enjoys playing piano, gourmet cooking, gardening, and spending time with her daughters and her 3 grandchildren.
